Welcome to the Mundesley Golf Club Social Events page!

This section lets you know what Mundesley Golf Club has to offer its existing members in the way of Social events. It also hopefully gives newcomers to the site a flavour of what the club is really about.

Here at Mundesley we are justifiably proud to boast one of the most inclusive and friendly clubs in the country. Maybe it’s because we’re tucked away on the coast, or maybe it’s because we offer a tight and challenging 9 hole course for all levels of golfer. Whatever the reason, what sets Mundesley apart is the guaranteed warm welcome you’ll get and the friendly atmosphere which permeates through the whole club.

This is reflected in the number of Social events which take place during the course of the year. These are always well supported and offer an excellent opportunity to mingle with other members and to meet new friends. These events are set out below in this year’s Social Calendar.

The social committee are pleased to announce a full program of social events for the year ahead.

Please make a note of these dates and keep watching the social notice-board for additional events as the year progresses.

With the emphasis on having fun, the golf competitions are open to anyone with a valid club handicap

TUESDAY NIGHT SOCIALS

A series of 9 hole social competitions will continue to run every week starting 30th March. Just turn up between 3.30pm & 6.30pm and pay £1.50 entrance fee (up in the bar) and play with whoever turns up next. A different format will be played each week. Meals and bar snacks will be available after your game. This is a great opportunity for members old and new to meet and play socially.

Throw in the occasional talk, the odd racing night and a new members evening when we welcome recent /new recruits and there'll hopefully be plenty to keep you socially active throughout the year!

Whether it’s any of the above golf competitions or the quiz nights, people obviously aim to do their best. More importantly, however, it’s about enjoying yourself, using the available facilities within the club and having a good mardle with others. Even away from these organised events, there’s usually someone about to hook up with on the course for an impromptu few holes.

So what are you waiting for? Come and experience Mundesley Golf Club first hand to see what we have to offer. Perhaps start with a green fee, or even make a society booking – the choice is yours. Our staff will be only too happy to help (especially if it involves handing out a new membership form!).
