   House Committee Minutes 1st February 2010

      MATTERS DISCUSSED

      Maintenance

      Gable end of club house, flat roof and canopy at front need attention.  Plastic surrounds suggested as they are low maintenance.

        Sec/Manager to seek prices for work.

 

      Sewage soakaway and drains

      It appears system is breaking down.  Expert advice is to be sought from Renosteel to survey and cost with possibility of a complete new septic tank.

 

       Sec/Manager - awaiting site visit. Quotes in so far of £4,500.

       Suggestions of a fat trap would help with this problem. At a cost £150.00 a month to empty the septic tank through the Summer. 

       This job must be addressed soon.

 

      Disability access

      Ramps to the men’s changing room were discussed.  In view of limited use, it was agreed to leave well alone. 

        There are already suitable ramps to patio doors which if required, staff can put in place.  There is also a toilet on this level that can be used.

 

      Security

      Gents changing room doors  - to keep code number the same, but change cover on the locks.

        Sec/Manager has this in hand.

 

      General House Matters

      Laundry, cleaning, utilities are managed and reviewed regularly by Sec/Manager.

 

      Any other business

      Nothing raised or discussed.
